This set of L-Rods uses a double set of Copper handles that are 4 1/4″ long with a 1/4″ diameter tube inside of a 3/8″ diameter tube that is the same length.  Inside of this handle is a 5″ long 1/8″ diameter Brass Rod that is bent at the top of the handle to make the l-shape with a 13″ long swing arm.

The copper handles are the Anode and the brass rod is the brass rod is the Cathode – any movement creates galvanic action due to the non-compatibility difference of the electrical potential between the copper handles and the brass rod – hence we have a self electrified set of L-rods.  This low voltage can be felt by the Dowser.
