Opening a Dialogue with Place: Dowsing as a
Conversation with the Living Land
What if the land is not just something we walk on, but a living intelligence we can learn to be in conversation with?
Come learn how dowsing can be used to open a respectful dialogue with place. Drawing on 30+ years of using dowsing, sacred geometry, intuitive listening, and land-based co-creation, Markey will guide participants in a simple process for opening a conversation with the land.
Participants will leave with a grounded practice they can use with their home, garden, travel destination, or any landscape they feel called to understand more deeply.
SPEAKER BIO
Markey Read is a lifelong dowser, sacred geometry practitioner, teacher, and garden designer who has spent more than thirty years exploring the relationship between consciousness, place, and the living intelligence of the earth. Her current Vermont garden—a 100-foot-diameter squared circle aligned to the cardinal directions—emerged through dowsed dialogue with the land itself. Coming from a lineage of Seed Keepers, Markey brings a grounded, intuitive approach to working with place through dowsing, design, ritual, divination, and daily practice.
