As a child Marty learned dowsing from her Lithuanian grandfather, Frank Witkus. In 1986 she attended the American Society of Dowser's school and convention in Danville, Vermont and became a life member of ASD adding formalized dowsing to her life. She researches ancient sacred sites in Europe and America, discovering what makes specific places sacred and recreates that experience for others today. Integrating art and geomancy, She amplifies the potential of site- specific art and invokes wide public participation in Earth healing attitudes. She co-directed the Beginning School at ASD National Convention for ten years.
Andy Bray is a corporate pilot, an ordained minister, a husband, father and happy grandfather, a “Handy-Andy” fix it guy, a dowser, and a member of ASD since 1999. After attending Convention in Lyndonville, Andy immediately became hooked on dowsing. After watching the chaos ASD experienced in the early and mid 2000’s, and watching many wonderful dowsers/friends walk away, he tried to convince them that you cannot make changes from the outside. Finally, taking his own advice, Andy ran for, and became a Trustee in 2009. He is now part of an excellent team which is dedicated to seeing ASD grow and prosper. Andy uses dowsing in every aspect of his life. He, and his wife Diane, work with energies and well being. Dowsing has become (as it should be) an integral part of their life.
I learned to dowse in 1969 while living in Montana and have since practiced that skill wherever I have lived. As an architect, I have dowsed many project sites to locate underground utility lines, energy and water flows and have used dowsing to construct Energy/Nature Consciousness Profiles of project sites. My goal has been to assist Owners in Co-Creating with nature consciousness, a successful partnership in living on the land.
I was introduced to dowsing 15 years ago at a retreat where the instructor used L-Rods to place a Labyrinth. When the rods magically moved in my hands i was hooked and i have been dowsing ever since. Its been a pleasure to teach dowsing to others and watch them discover that 'A Ha!!' moment for themselves. As a member of Vermont Vibrations, i was part of a research project investigating the use of runic energies and their incorporation into Labyrinths. I enjoy dowsing earth energies to find to find water, create sacred space, and co-create healthier living spaces.
Adhi Moonien Two Owls has been studying dowsing and its related sciences for almost 10 years. She entered into the dowsing world by taking the Biogeometry Foundation training offered by Dr, Robert Gilbert and has a done much independent study in the field of Scientific Radiesthesia. Adhi has quantified theories in dowsing as well as gathering data in support of dowsing as a viable method for modifying energy patterns, phenomena, emissions and causes. Her work with dowsing is to make it accessible to everyone, scientifically accepted and bring to life its deeper esoteric capabilities.
Lisa McCrory was first exposed to dowsing 20 years ago and has been attending the ASD National Convention almost every year since. What attracted her most to dowsing was that it offered her a way to look deeply into herself; to grow spiritually and emotionally. In 1994 she took a two-day course on gardening with nature spirits and from that point on has been using her L-rods and pendulum in designing her labyrinth gardens and other geometric designs on her farm, growing food high in energy and nutrition for the people consuming it and for the land itself. Her dowsing is often useful when she is needing to address livestock health issues as well. Lisa and her husband own and operate Earthwise Farm and Forest, a certified organic, diversified farm, raising heritage livestock, raw milk, vegetables, garlic, flowers, and lumber. Lisa applies dowsing, organic, biodynamic and ecological principles for the purpose of creating healthy, vibrant food and forest products using motive power (draft animals), renewable energy (solar and wind power), and nutrient cycles.

She enjoys teaching dowsing in libraries, elementary schools and colleges.
